Terms and Conditions
Last updated
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of immigrantset.com (the "Site"), operated by Immigrantset ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. General information, not legal advice
The content on the Site is general information about immigration rules and processes. It is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer and client relationship. Immigration law changes frequently and depends on individual circumstances. Before you act, confirm the current rules on the relevant official government website and, for advice about your situation, consult a licensed immigration lawyer or accredited adviser.
2. Accuracy and updates
We research every article against official sources and show the date its facts were last checked. We cannot guarantee that every page is complete, current or error free at all times. Government fees, thresholds and processing times may change after an article is checked.
3. No government affiliation
Immigrantset is independent. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with any immigration authority, including USCIS, the UK Home Office or IRCC. We do not process applications and cannot influence any decision.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or connected systems;
- send malicious code, spam or automated requests that place an unreasonable load on the Site;
- submit false information through our forms, or upload files that you do not have the right to share.
5. Intellectual property
The text, design, graphics and code of the Site belong to Immigrantset or its licensors. You may read, share links to and quote short extracts from our articles with a clear credit and link to the source page. You may not republish whole articles or substantial parts without our written permission. Official government material quoted on the Site remains subject to its own licence.
6. Links to other websites
We link to official and third party websites for reference. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those websites.
7. Job applications and messages
When you contact us or apply for a vacancy, you confirm that the information you send is accurate and that you have the right to share any files you upload. We handle this information as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Immigrantset is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content, including decisions made about an immigration application. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
